Thanks to All..

Salam..we are about to collect RM 3K for our group project!!! Thanks to ALLAH and Thanks to All that help to raise the fund...May ALLAH reward you and place you in JANNAH..

Oh..before that, let me share to you the best way to raise fund. There are many ways to raise fund. If it is difficult for you to write a letter and get approval and so on..just go back to your hometown and start to collect money..:)..Seriously..i'm doing it..and still doing it until this time..to collect money..it is not difficult!!

First, you need to have GOOD CONNECTION with THEM..for example your relatives and cousins..so the time you open your mouth and ask something..they already there to help you..:)

Second, ask your father friend..like your father boss..manager..or CEO..huhu..oh before that..you need to have tied connection with them..for me, I'm usually have a chat with guests that came to my house..try to be friendly with them..naturally..and not hypocrite!!!

Third, ask your parents..of course!! they will give you..when they look at your sad face..I always do that!! haha

Fourth, used your sweet tongue..yup..this is the right time, and right place..For example: "Dear my hansom uncle, beautiful auntie, sweet cousin.......i'm lucky to have you by my side...-state your problem here- and end with praising them..haha

Lastly,try to think and have your own creativity..actually..the BEST THING IS TO HAVE GOOD CONNECTION AND BUILD YOUR NETWORK !!!..when you have that, it would help you!!

p/s: don't forget..the secret of wealth  is in DUHA PRAYER!!!

we are back sister and brother!!

it seems a long break from visiting orphanage home..last week the principle had a convocation day,so we need to cancel our appointment and replaced it on Saturday..Unfortunately, we received call from the principle which she mentioned that our beloved sister and brother had replacement class on Saturday..and again..we need to cancel it again!! ;(

We came back to orphanage house on Sunday..and hope for them to still remember our name..the program start at 12pm and ended at 4.00 pm..as usual one of our team member Az-Athirah will elaborate more on our program..Looking forward to see Az-Athirah report and others group members as well.... including me..huhu...:)

Last 3 days..our team members had put lot of effort in completing our PBL 1..This PBL is not an ordinary learning..students can enjoy their learning and showing their creativity as well..as expected our lecturer, Dr. Lihanna..asked us to show our talent on making video!!!..Ya ALLAH..i need to take class for making video by using windows movie maker..i never doing it before huhu..Alhamdullillah..after trial and error process..we actually did it!! Although, we are so shy to show the video in the class..but we actually can't wait for it..Big thanks to Dr. Lihanna..now i can easily use windows movie maker!!! Credits to Sis Hazirah Alam Faizly cause teach me on how to cut the video, and Sis Triningsih cause teach me on how to convert the video...:)

The First Session-Zubaida

We arrived the orphanage at around 10am on Saturday morning, Januray 8th, 2011. We were welcomed by the boys and the principle very warmly. The boys and girls were asked to sit while the facilitator and her team introduced themselves. They were divided into four groups. In the group in which Say and Zubaida were the faciliators, three boys and a girl were in the group. Murshid (15 years old), Firdaus (15 years old), Hafiz (.......), Khairul (.......), and Erra (........).

After introducing each other and getting to know each other the group was asked to draw 3 things they like and dislike, in order to warm up before starting the actual module. They took their time to think and draw. After that johari window's activity took place, in that activity they interacted with each other and with the facilitaors. Shared their some wishes, fears, and desires. They opened up with the facilitaors ans were more comfortable around them. By the end of the visit to the orphanage a small activity was held in which few gifts were given away.

Communication Self-disclosure  Self-esteem Intelligence and creativity	At first, some of the student did not want to communicate. They also avoid from make any interaction with us. During our first meeting, their level of self-disclosure is very low. They did not want to disclose anything about themselves when we ask for it, maybe due to shyness.  Their level of self-esteem is very low at the beginning.  They not trust themselves and look down at their own capability. They believed that they are not as clever as other student and avoid responding at any question that we asked. Shy to show their level of IQ to us.  From what we perceived, they are very naughty and hard o handled.  They are quiet lazy in certain thing.	After breaking into group and make activity, they start to accept us. They also start to participate and able to respond well when we asking question. Level of self-disclosure increased. Even the depth is not very, they start to disclose about several basic things likes their names, hobbies, family background and academic achievement.  For example, their result for UPSR. Level of self-esteem increased. They start to have self-confident and self-possessed.  They start to answer and give feedback without any fear every time we asked. After get into group, they manage to show their intelligence and creativity.  In which they start to compete between each other and challenged themselves to show their ability and cleverness to their fellow friends.  For example, in the activity “Who Is Nurul?”.

All we need is to be pREPaRED :)

Mission: to find out the Rumah N. Q.

WeLuvadol thought of find out the Rumah anak yatim Nurul Qannah earlier before the tentative date. So, two of the team members, Sai and Ajim went out to check the place by taxi..But then, what happened was they could not reach the place due to incomplete address and some misunderstanding with the taxi driver. The address was stated that the place is located at Batu Caves, Taman Batu. But when they reached to that place the postcode was different. Actually, it was just nearby..the place is located at Greenwood area..Yeah..of course just less than 15 minutes from UIA. And the taxi charged was RM26.50..:(

Date: 6th January 2011 (Friday)

Time: 5.45pm to 7.10pm

Vanue: Rumah Anak Yatim N.Q.

Objectives: 

• To have discussion with the principle, PUAN ZAINAB about the programe.
• To set a date for the programe.

On that day, we went to RNQ, our objective is to meet the principle and have a discussion about our program. Although it not an easy thing to contact and make a deal with orphanage home,( in my opinion I think)..ALHAMDULILLAH with the HELP from ALLAH, and HIS BLESSED, we manage to have a small conversation with Pn.ZAinab and tour to the House. In addition, we discussed about the date to make the program, and How many students that will be involved.

Frankly, I had never been to any orphanage house before. Okay, let me brief about the orphanage house: The House is located at Taman Batu, Greenwood near the Mosque. It is double story building. The house consisted of more than 20 people; average age is 12-17 year old. Overall, by the conversation that we made with the principle, she was told us that the students there were not only an orphan but also came from the lower income family. Some students came from nearby and some came from the other state such as Kelantan and Kedah.

Several things that we gained from the conversation:

1)      The principle had approved our module

2)      The principle had stated  the date, on 8^th,22^nd,23th of January 2011J

3)      20 students will participate on the project

4)      The student are naughty , but smart J

5)      The student are poor in English L

Comments: Overall, we feel very satisfied about our group progress and cannot wait to start our group project!!!INSYAALLAH WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO EDUCATE THEM (^_^)/

Focused group: Adolescent around 13-17.

Mission to accomplish:

1) Explain to them about our program objectives,mission, and vision.

2) Applying psychological methods such reinforcement, counseling session and discover their unconscious   thought.

3)Distribute self esteem questionnaires.

4) Scoring their scores to know the pre-test.

5) Divide them into groups

6) Each of the reprensentative facilitators need to write a brief report.

7) Secretary will write overall report and post to blog and book.
